The spanish is the third football coach fired this season in La Liga
The relationship between the andalusian club and the former Rayo Vallecano coach has finished earlier than it expected. The Granada executive staff took the surprising decision this morning after an extraordinary meeting in the offices of the Nazari club.
Paco Jemez signed a three years contract deal with the spanish sportive entity, but his history with the club will be reduced to six league matches after the unexpected new. The team is not in a good position in La Liga as they only have won 2 points of 18 possible. This one is the main reason of the Granada direction decision.
Jemez has trained Cordoba CF, UD Las Palmas and Rayo Vallecano among others. On May 2016, after the Madrid club relegation, Jemez rejected to agree new terms with his old club and started his relationship with Granada CF. Former international player conducted his last session with the squad this morning and said goodbye to the footballers.
Now the coach of the second squad, Lluis Planaguma, will sit in the bench of the team next weekend in the match against CD Leganes while the club looks for a new long-term coach. Lucas Alcaraz, Jose Gonzalez, Pepe Mel and Baraja are some of the names that sounds for the position.
