La Liga teams will have their second challenge in the Champions League and Europa League this week. The round will be really interesting for all the supporters of football as we will watch a triple spanish-german confrontation in the highest competition of Europe

UEFA Champions League (Matchday 2 /  Group Stage)

On Tuesday Real Madrid will open the spanish-german contest with a great match against Borussia Dortmund at Westfalenstadion. The last time these teams faced each other, the germans beat Los Blancos 2-0 in the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League 2014. Sevilla FC will receive Olympique Lyonnais the same day in the Ramon Sanches Pizjuan Stadium trying to achieve the first victory in the competition after draw with Juventus.

One day after, on Wednesday, Atletico de Madrid will play at home maybe the most interesting match of the round against Bayern Munich. Both teams already faced each other the last year in the semi-finals of the tournament and Los Colchoneros were victorious. FC Barcelona will close the spanish-german battles in a game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Los Blaugranas will not count with Messi, as the argentinian is injured.

UEFA Europa League (Matchday 1 / Group Stage)

Thursday will be the day for the Europa League teams. Villarreal CF will fly to Romania to play Steaua București and try to keep the good line they are having during these past weeks. Both Celta de Vigo and Athletic de Bilbao will have home matches against Panathinaikos and Rapid Vienna respectively. Both teams need the triumph to be in a good position to go to the next round.

* Athletic de Bilbao will play at 09:05 pm Spain time while Villarreal CF and Celta de Vigo will play at 07:00 pm Spain time.
