The current European champion Real Madrid leads the Spanish Soccer League being the only team that have won the three matches

Three matches is what Zidane´s team has needed to become the leader in solitary of La Liga. Atletico Madrid jumped out of this wagon in the first match of the league when they tied 1-1 against Alaves. Now, Las Palmas and FC Barcelona did the same. Everyone expected a possible defeat of Las Palmas in their visit to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan of Seville, but only a few guessed FC Barcelona collapse in his own Stadium against a just promoted team: Alaves.

Celta 0 – Atletico Madrid 4 (53´ Koke, 73´ Griezmann, 81´ Griezmann, 89´ Correa)

The first half at Balaidos Stadium was really balanced and none of the teams imposed their own game style. It was in the second half when the Atletico player, Antoine Griezmann, decided to lead Los Colchoneros to the victory. A cross from the french player gave to Koke the opportunity to open the score with the first goal. Minutes later, Griezmann himself scored two goals to finish with the Celta resistance. In the 89th minute Correa signed the 4th goal for Atletico Madrid in a great second half of Simeone´s team

Real Madrid 5 (6´Cristiano Ronaldo, 40´ Danilo, 46´ Sergio Ramos, 56´ Pepe, 62´ Modric) – Osasuna 2 (64´ De las Cuevas, 78´ David García)

Osasuna went to the Bernabeu Stadium with the intention to make their game and trying to surprise Los Blancos. However, it´s difficult to beat a team like Real Madrid when they find the way to score a goal in the 6th minute of the match. It was Cristiano Ronaldo, who came back after a long injury who opened the score after a Gareth Bale pass. After it, Real Madrid showed what they know to do the best: the counterattack. They really did it and every ball stolen by Los Merengues sounded like a dangerous opportunity against Osasuna. The first half finished 3 – 0 with Modric as the orchestra director of Real Madrid.

The second half went through the same path and Pepe and Modric scored the 4th and 5th goal for Real Madrid respectively. Osasuna had the courage and dignity to fight until the end of the game and they makeover the score making two goals that could have been 3 if they had not missed a penalty kick. The final score was 5-2 and suppposed the third victory in a row of Real Madrid this season in the spanish soccer league.

Sevilla 2 (89´ (p) Sarabia, 94´ Carlos Fernandez) – Las Palmas 1 (16´ Tana)

Second match in the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in the season and second match full of emotions. Las Palmas reached to Seville and showed why they already won 6 points in the first two matches. With Roque Mesa as the guide of the canaries, Las Palmas hit the andalusians with an amazing goal of Tana and the first half finished only 0-1 thanks to the good actuation of the goalkeeper Sergio Rico. Sevilla FC improved after the first 30 minutes and it was in the second half once Vitolo stepped on the pitch, when they showed their best. However, Sevilla FC only found the path to the goal after a not too clear penalty over Vitolo. Sarabia did not miss the chance and equalised the match in the 89th minute. It was not the last surprise, as in the 94th minute the youth player Carlos Fernandez scored for Los Nervionenses the goal of the victory and the three points.

FC Barcelona 1 (46´ Mathieu) – Alaves 2 (39´ Deyverson, 64´ Ibai)

Luis Enrique chose to leave in the bench in the beginning of the match some of the most important players of the team such as Messi, Iniesta, Luis Suarez, Pique, Jordi Alba… He probably was worried about the fatigue of those players after the International compromises and he wanted to keep them fit for the first match of the UEFA Champions League next Tuesday. He maybe also thought that a just promoted team would be easier to beat. With Ter Stegen injured, the turn in the goal was for the new goalkeeper Cillessen. The new striker Paco Alcacer also had the opportunity to start in the game. The defensive line was very unusual with Digne, Mathieu, Mascherano and Aleix Vidal, who was pointed (along with the argentinian defender) by most of the FC Barcelona supporters as one of the responsibles of the bad performance of the team.

With that picture, the catalans played an offbeat match, slow, with many mistakes…In the 38th minute Deyverson scored for Alaves in one of the little chances the basques had during the game. The second half started better for FC Barcelona and Mathieu made a goal after a corner kick. Blaugrana team had some chances to make the second goal and take the advantage in the score, but he did not. In the 63th minute, with Messi already in the pitch, FC Barcelona received again bad news when Ibai scored the second goal for Alaves. Iniesta and Luis Suarez joined the game, but nothing changed and FC Barcelona lost their first match of the season in the spanish league La Liga.
