Real Madrid keeps on top of the table of the spanish La Liga while FC Barcelona and Atletico seem to be ready for the challenge

Los Blancos are leading the spanish football league after the 4th round with a full of victories (12 points). FC Barcelona and the surprising UD Las Palmas share the second position with 9 points while Atletico de Madrid is already 4th with 8 points. CA Osasuna, RC Celta de Vigo and Valencia CF are in the bottom of the standings.

Real Betis 2 (36´, 61´ Alex Alegria) – Granada CF 2 (13´ Mehdi Carcela, 33´ A. Bueno)
Paco Jemez´s team leaded the match after thirty minutes (0-2) but that advantage was not enough to win. Granada player Vezo was punished with a red card and Poyet´s team took advantage of that circumstance and they leveled the game. However, still Granada had the chance to win the match with the penalty missed by Ponce in the 79th minute.

CD Leganes 1 (80´ Gabriel Appelt) – FC Barcelona 5 (15´, 55´ Messi, 31´ Luis Suarez, 44´ Neymar, 64´ Rafinha)
The catalans kept on the hurricane mode in their visit to the city of south Madrid and they beat Los Pepineros by 5-1 with an exceptional Leo Messi. The other two musketeers also participated in the FC Barcelona´s recital and they scoring one goal each. Good news for FC Barcelona their strikers are in this shape.

Atletico Madrid 5 (2´, 31´ Griezmann, 5´ Gameiro, 72´, 91´ Fernando Torres) –  Sporting Gijon 0
Griezmann was again the true chief of Los Colchoneros with two goals, one of them in a splendid action and right now he is the top scorer of La Liga with four goals along with Messi, Ruben Castro and Suarez. Gameiro made finally his first goal for Atletico while Torres wanted to show everyone that he is still the striker he was once scoring two goals

SD Eibar 1 (64´ Pedro Leon) – Sevilla FC 1 (27´ Vietto)
The andalusians still do not perform as they wish in the away matches and they tied 1 – 1 against the basque team. Even with advantage in the scoreboard and with one player more than the opponents, Sevilla FC could not hold the three points. It seems that Sampaoli still has a lot of work to do.

Las Palmas 1 (10´ Momo) – Malaga CF 0
The canaries achieved their third victory in the spanish league in four matches and they showed why they are on the top positions on the table. An early goal from a penalty kick of Momo sentenced Malaga CF. Los Boquerones evidenced again their main problem: they can not score goals.

Osasuna 0Celta de Vigo 0
The galicians tried again and again but they did not find the way to the goal. As Malaga CF, Berizzo´s team is suffering their poor shooting and they are having now the baddest scoring performance ever in the beginning of La Liga season.

Athletic de Bilbao 2 (24´, 41´ Aduriz) – Valencia CF 1 (2´ Medran)
Other team in a depressing situation is the Che team. Their unexperienced coach do not find the way to turn back the situation and Valencia CF has suffered 7 defeats in a row the last 7 matches in the spanish soccer league (during last season and this one) It sounds new names for the bench of the team. On the other side, Athletic just needed their main striker Aritz Aduriz, who made two goals, to counter the early goal of Medran and win the game.

Villarreal 2 (22´, 25´ Sansone) – Real Sociedad 1 (35´ Yuri Berchiche)
The castellonenses counted with Sansone as their best player. The born german player with italian passport figured out to score two goals and provoke a penalty. Eusebio´s team did not lose the faith until the end of the match, but they just could reduce the difference in the scoreboard by one goal.

Espanyol 0Real Madrid 2 (45´ James Rodriguez, 72´ Benzema)
The history repeated again in a match between these teams. It is the 20th official match in a row that Espanyol can´t beat Real Madrid. The match was not good until Casemiro left the game and Kroos joined Modric to govern the game. From that moment Real Madrid controlled the match and finally got the three points thanks to James and Benzema goals.

Deportivo Alaves 0Deportivo de la Coruña 0
The last match of the four round was played at Mendizorroza Stadium and finished with a poor 0-0 During some time the supporters could watch some good actions but without goals, the matches are not the same. Nevertheless, with this result Alaves achieved the best start in their whole history in the first division of the spanish league.
